25 lbs of fat in 30 days is not going to happen...for those with higher than average levels of body fat it can take 2-3 weeks just to see a shift in the metabolism from diet and exercise.

restricting carbs just reduces water weight and not body fat. this is why most people see a drastic decrease in body weight on the "scale" the first week. and then progress is much, much slower after that. the lipids in fat cells are stored energy they have to be converted to ATP and then oxidized. this is a slow process and the body will only convert so much free fatty acids to ATP in a 24 hr period regardless of the diet or level of activity.

rapid weight loss will always results in a much higher percentage of lean muscle mass being sacrificed in the process. this very often results in the person being lighter on the scale after weight reduction diet but with a high percentage of body fat. you just took 1 step forward and 3 steps back...

2. You can't lose weight from a specific body part

3. Some anti-depressants will cause weight gain

4. The only safe way to lose weight is to move more and make healthy food choices.

that's a lot of weight... the simple answer is there is no really safe way to lose that much, that quickly... some pills advertised on TV will offer that, but usually their not entirely truthful or its incredibly dangerous... working out, keeping your calories at a lower (but safe) level... you want your calories between 1000-1500 a day to lose weight and be safe (below 1000 isn't healthy) and burning as many calories (working out) as possible... that doesn't mean run a marathon every day, just do your best...

Eat healthy food, lots of fruits and veggies. Also go on a long walk everyday. Walking for an hour everyday and watching what I eat helped me lose the extra weight. Good luck!

running.
situps and such won't work.
Running is the best bet, because you will lose weight all over, area specific workouts WILL NOT work for losing weight.
