I'd suggest getting a secured card as they're easier to get... unless you're a college student. As for who will finance an auto with no credit history, I'm not sure... bad credit is often deemed less risky than no credit. Surprising you have no credit history... perhaps wait a while to build a history with the credit card before applying? Car lenders will also look at employment, debt-to-income ratio, and things like that... good luck!

You have a variety of options if you have poor / no credit. You can find a great list of credit cards here:
http://www.asapcreditcard.com/unsecured-offers.html
Obviously, I would recommend trying an unsecured credit card (for poor credit) first since you won't pay a security deposit. In particular, I would recommend the Orchard Bank Platinum card. It's a great unsecured offer-- plus, if you don't qualify-- Orchard Bank will offer you a secured credit card instead. This way, you only have to apply once-- meaning less inquiries on your credit report.
Hope this helps. Good luck!

If you are looking for a credit card for bad credit, there are many options to choose from. The two main types of cards available are either a secured credit card or an unsecured credit card for bad credit. Both types of cards can help you repair your credit by giving you an opportunity to establish a good payment history. The costs and fees associated with each type of card are very different, however. In addition, depending on how bad your credit is, whether you have sufficient income and other personal details, you may only qualify for one or the other.

Whoa! You are about to start doing a whole bunch of stuff that is likely to bring you grief! You DO NOT need a credit card & you DO NOT need to finance a car. Go get a copy of Dave Ramsey's "Total Money Makeover". It contains a very good discussion of how NOT to end up in debt for things like cars & how to live well WITHOUT credit! I promise that it is quite possible, in spite of the myths told in bank & car dealer commercials. We have not borrowed for ANYTHING since 2002. We have such peace about our finances, drive paid for cars, have money saved for emergencies & check our credit only to make sure no one else has used it because we DO NOT CARE about our credit score! I hope you will give it a try rather than jumping into the pit of debt.

You will need a cosigner for a car loan if you have no credit at all. IF you have a family member with good credit they can add you as an authorized user of two of their credit cards. That would give you instant credit history. Make sure these accounts are below 50% of their limits and have no lates in their history otherwise you will be getting the wrong kind of history. With two good trade lines on your credit file you should be getting preapproved offers in the mail and can pick and choose who you do business with. One note, your credit history may show up at that other person's address. You would have to make sure the credit bureaus show your correct physical home address.

It's not true that you have to have a co-signer to get an auto loan with no credit. If you have a good downpayment (20% of the sale price or more) and a good job history (at least 1 year at the same job... more is better) you can get financed. Just be aware that your interest rate may be as high as 21%.

I have found a button on the source. It leads to a site that does not turn anyone down for a credit card and no credit checks. The site is great for other resources.
