Me & my ex were togetha for 2yrs [ give or take some] . We stopped talking like 6 months ago. We were eachothers 1st loves & all . I know that i will never be able to forget him, but is it possible that he can forget me, totally? He says hes wants to "permenently delete me from his memory" I haven't talked to him for like a month, but i call him every once and a while to see how hes doing [ it usually doesnt go well, he usually keeps apologizing, then says he is unable to hear "this"] . I just don`t want him to forget me, because i will never forget him & i cannot even more on. He had a gf after me [lasted 1 month] & he was on the phone with her & switched the lines for me, without even telling her. I know this because she told me because she knew one of my guy friends from myspace. I don`t know if that means anything, but i don't know what to do. So confused . . .

This question makes me sad. I know that feeling all to well, and because I do I can give you what I know. You will never EVER forget about your first. Its like when you get married for the first time, or have a child, buy a house, your first car...you never forget. That goes with him too. He is only trying to forget you , because he is a guy, young, and wants to know what else is out there. The fact is though...you have marked him for life..and even when he is 70...he willl be telling his grandkids your name...as his first love....life is beautiful like that. You can't make him get back with you unfortunatly. All you can do is cherish the times you had, and move on. The key is though, don't hold what happened with this guy against the new one. Be happy...life is brilliant..good luck

Going, going, gone. Trust me, he'll forget about you. If not already. Just move and quit being a whiner. Sorry to make it sound cold hearted but that's the truth. You'll never get him back by stalking him. If you ever truly ever want him back, and I don't know why you would, you should show him that you've moved on and don't need him. That's what make an ex attractive the notion that she's independent and doesn't need you makes us guys very insecure. And then we want the chick even more.

He won't be able to forget you. you were together for 2years come on give me a break. How can you forget some one after going out for 2 years? My first love i went out with for 2 years and he said the same thing. Now were best friends.

Love is something that can never be forgotten. You know that you were truly in love with him because you still cant get him out of your mind. If you know he was truly in love with you also, there is no doubt that he still thinks about you. The reason he said he wanted to "delete you out of his memory" is because he doesnt want to hurt as much as a result of your breakup. The whole, him having a girlfriend thing, is another way of tryna get over you. Seeing the situation that you presented... and just knowin a lil bout love... he probally still loves you and cant get you out of his head.

i can understand the first love thingy. but u have to build ur courage to move on and go back to a life without him. he has move on and while he is still dear 2 u , u need 2 try and keep it that way.dont go stlking him with ur phone calls and pick up the cue on when 2 end the conversation.

Why don't you want him to forget about you? The two of you are borken up so let him be! He will never truly forget who you are, but he wants to move on and it seems as though you are refusing to! Girl sail on...it's over! You are too worried about this guy who is obviously not worried about you. You are playing your own fool and for what?

sounds like he's over you. he may have wavered a little bit at the beggining, but now he's forgotten you. he's moved on. you should, too. go out with some other guys. you'll never forget him since he was your first love, but there are other guys out there.

he still has feelings for you. maybe you should try to talk to him, if not , pay him a surprise visit. it sounds like none of you have moved on and maybe talking it out will make you guys get back together & happy again.
