I'd rather just be average, which I think 5'6" is somewhat average in the States. I'm 5'3" and I'm always just out of reach of the chocolates we keep on the top shelf of the cupboard :-( But thank God for stools.

I admit that short people are so adorable sometimes but I am tall (5'9 actually) and I am happy with it. Shopping for jeans is challenging sometimes but I wouldn't wish to be any shorter. If I was short I would be fat. I can eat a little more and my slow metabolism isn't as much of a problem because I have so much height to spread the weight over if that makes an sense plus I can usually reach anything high that I need and I will never be mistaken for a child even though I am young and fresh faced.

well i would to be taller than i am, I'm 5 foot 5 inches, and for a girl in my family that is short!! my mom is 6 foot 1 and my sister is 5 foot 10. I was hoping to be tall b/c I'm a softball pitcher and being tall helps but I'm just going to have to deal w/ being medium height

I am 5'11 and a girl... I always get told that I should model and that it must be so great being tall but i think it would be nice to be short if you are a girl because you feel more cute and feminine and tall for a guy because you could protect the cute little girl. sound weird but oh well!

I'm five feet, six inches tall. I've always wanted to be a couple of inches taller, but I've been the same height for quite a few years, so no chance of me getting taller!

Short because you don't stand out as much as a tall person does and you don't have to worry about dating someone taller than you because allmost all the guys are.

I wish I were taller. lots of people in my class taller then me. there is even a girl that is so tallShe makes me feel about 2 or 3 inches tall

I would like to be shorter. I'm not tall, I'm only 5'5 but people always tell me I look tall because I'm very thin. I look kinda lanky, so I think if I were a couple inches shorter I would look better.

I am short- a bit under 5'3". I used to hate it so much when I was younger, but now I don't mind anymore, because I'm fit and I like my body as it is.
