list of backpackers eg countries

From my travel encounters around Australia:
1. Undisputably the British, heaps of them
2. German
3. Scandinavians (Dannish, Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish)
4. French and Swiss
5. Dutch
6. Japanese and Koreans
7. Canadians
8. Some from the States, but pale in comparison to other European backpackers.
Of course there are other visitors from other countries like China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, INdonesia,etc but not many of them do backpacking-style travel, although they constitute a big chunk of tourists to Australia. ANd lately I have seen more and more coming from CEntral and South America backpackers.

All over the place! I recently did some tourism research and most of the backpackers in the area I surveyed were from:
Germany
Sweden
Switzerland
USA
Israel

In N.Z they seem to be from germany and Israel and America.
