Yes. When republicans say democracy, they actually mean capitalism. The people of Iraq will not have the democratic freedom to reject American corporations, but rather they will insist that American Corporations have the democratic right to invade Iraq. Why? Because a basic unspoken rule of capitalism is that it relies on a constant increase in market; once the market can no longer grow, capitalism will fail. Of course, American schools tend to omit this bit in the econ classes, and anyone who points it out is branded a commie.
