We buy a loaf of bread but we don't eat bread every day. Buy the time we get to the end of the loaf the bottom of the bread is soggy and starting to mold. We have tried one of those bread tupperwares but it doesn't work either. Any sugestions? other than "eat the bread quicker"

Put the loaf in the freezer.

Nuke it for 5 seconds to thaw it for sandwiches.

My husband thinks that if you keep it in the dark that it lasts longer. Hm. I think it gets blue just as fast, you just don't see it as quick! We sometimes keep it in the refrigerator, which does help, but it seems to dry out a bit faster. Sub rolls do ok in there, though. I have frozen half a loaf, then thawed it as needed and that keeps it longer, too. I, too, have never seen a bread-keeper that made a difference.

Put the loaf in the freezer and just take out what you need. I put my loaf in a plastic bag to protect it. Always have fresh bread when you need it.

You can keep bread in the refigerator. It will extend the life of bread a lot longer. EVENTUALLY there will be mold but it will take a lot longer.
