Water will not make you lose weight, it will not make you lose weight.... now, you should REPLACE whatever you are drinking with water, not drinking more of it, 10 to 12 glasses of water per day is enough. Water is not a magic potion, its just that it has no calories, 0 calories, and what some people dont understand is when you start drinking 10-12 glasses of water per day, there isnt really much room to drink anything else, like soda which has about 160 calories per can, or Powerade which can have 250 calories, its not the water itself that is helping to lose fat, its the fact that they are probably not drinking as much soda or coffee or beer or juice. I used to drink like 8 cans of Coca Cola a day probably more thats at least 1200 calories in just Coca Cola alone, i used to drink coffee and hot chocolate at work, the hot chocolate was 250 calories each, I drank 8 mugs of it one day, thats 2000 calories right there. My daily requirement for calories is only supposed to be 1800-2000 calories. When I REPLACED what I was drinking WITH water, I lost 20 pounds.(along with exercise). This is the best way to start cutting out extra calories, juice contains alot of sugar, I dont drink it anymore, I eat apples and oranges, grapes, mandarins, supposed have 2 - 3 servings of fruit per day, I eat 5 servings of vegetables per day, 20% of my water intake is from fruit and vegetables, I also drink about 10 glasses of water and at the very least 2 cups of fat free skim milk.

I'm on a diet myself. When I drink 2 glasses of water before meals I get full with out eating as much food. When this happens. I take in less fat and other bad things as well. I seem to be losing weight.

I wish that weight loss issue is that simple :-)
You cannot loss weight juts by drinking lots of water, cold or hot it does not really matter
You have to do more than that, eat less, exercise more, eat healthier and raw food etc

Weight-loss is not that simple... water can help, its a good 'filler' when you're hungry and don't need the extra calories... so yes, it can help... but it can't be the only thing in your weight-loss plan...

It is proven if you drink an aloted amount of COLD water, then yes. I takes energy for your body to heat it up before digesting it. So you in turn burn calories.
