i am having trouble with my 1000 watt subwoffer.i am pushin it with a 550 watt amp.it was working fine but then i was bumpin it with a very very loud song.then the sub would stop and a red warning light that said terminal on the amp came on.my other speaker worked fine with it.i then plugged it up straight from my radio and it would work, but would cut the whole radio off and would come back on and do this continuissly...exactly what happens when you take a possitive and negative speaker wire and put them together

I thank you ether need a new powerful amp to go with your speaker. If those are one of those speakers with 1000watt's written on the face of it you mite want to get another speaker as well. I heard those speakers have bad problems with shortages.

you tend to short things out when you do that, if you have a 4 channel amp try bridging it , take the pos of one channal and the neg of the other that will give you about 1100 whatts of power cool
