Great for kids & adults: Lotte World & Everland (Amusement parks), Korean Folk Village (my #1 recommendation), many Korean restaurants have indoor play areas for kids, visit to Mt. Sorak, Buddah's Birthday celebration in Seoul (I believe it's in May)
Great for adults: Shopping in Seoul (Itaewon, Nam dae mun, Dong dae mun areas), Cherry blossoms and a visit to the Korean Naval Academy in Jinhae (March/April), dinner cruise on the Han River

How about one fantastic reason?
I strongly recommend the take the DMZ tour.
This is an escorted tour to the Demilitarized Zone, that separates North from South Korea.
You will come face to face with North Koreans, who are trained from birth to hate you, and will kill you without hesitation if told to do so.
You will get goosebumps numerous times while there.
I have taken this tour previously; it's spooky !!
But, it's very informative. If you're lucky on the day you go, you might be able to stand on the North Korean side (inside) of the building which held the Armistice talks.
You will constantly have North Korean Guards stare at you with hatred in their eyes.
If the opportunity presents itself, definitely purchase for yourself one of the DMZ Barbwire Plaques. These were issued on the 50th Anniversary of the beginning of the Korean War. Be sure you get one with a serial number!!
I believe they will become extremely valuable once North Korea implodes upon itself.

It is sad but there is no jungle in Korea. If you really wanna go somewhere like that then I can recommend you Everland. There is a zoo. you can also go to Caribbean bay in there. I don't know what part of Korea you going to so I don't know how to tell you. but I grew up in Seoul and I know most of all about Seoul. When I was in Seoul I went to movie theater in Myeongdong, and Musical theater in Hyehwa, club in Kangnam. Seoul is kind of big city. I'm pretty sure that you can have fun in there. plus there are many places for shop.

You could go to Techno Mart and find any new gadgets out there. You could also go to garak market on line 8. That is where they get the Dog meat from. You could go to city hall there are lots of temples and 4 star hotels there. You could go to Yeoido to see building 63. You could go shopping in Meoyoung Dong or Itaewon. Here is a site for tourism. It also has a subway map on that site. It is very helpful.
