I have the recipe right here I typed homemade dog bones, came up care2.com 2 cups whole wheat flour
1/3 cup corn meal
1/2 cup soy flour
1/2 cup ground seeds
1 tblspn linseed oil
1tblspn veg oil 1/4 cup molasses 2 eggs 1/4 cup milk mix all together to form a ball roll out on a cookie cutter board and cut out dog bone shapes bake 350 for 25 - 30 minutes. I store them in the refridgerator. Use them up before a month or they go bad. I guess you could freeze them to make them last.good christmas present to families with dogs. Make sure you tell them that they are for their dogs not them. I guess you could eat them but they may be kind of plain. Try one I dare you!

Or, check out the books from the Three Dog Bakery. There are two I know of, and my dogs love most of the treats from those books!
