Stop letting your boyfriend do your thinking for you. He says that because it's easier than dealing with the real issue of what's bothering you. Talk to someone else who can be more objective.

I used to be the exact same way, and sometimes I still can be like that. It can really have a big impact on a relationship, and mine used to. Mine all roots from past relationships, I was hurt badly by guys that i trusted and in the end they broke my heart. Maybe it comes from past relationships, or there's a possibility that you're insecure. In that situation you have to just believe in yourself, and know that he is with you for a reason, he wants to be with you, it's his choice! Obviously you have nothing to be insecure about it this guy really wants to be with you!
If this really is affecting the relationship then you have to do something about it. The good thing is that you do notice it, which can help you fix this problem. It's hard to completely get rid of these feelings, but you have to trust him until he gives you a reason not to, that's my motto.
If you feel yourself doubting him, you have to put those feelings aside and really think about the situation, and if he would really do what you're worried about, chances are... he wouldn't if he really loves you.
Odds are that these feeling will be in the back of your mind for a while, but you have to put all your trust in him. If you love him, and if you want this relationship to work, you have to, and it will be worth it in the end. I wish you the best of luck!

some people are just tuned in it .. being worried and shy is treated with being arrogant and funny. sometimes it works. you can try it too. i mean be whoever you are and keep doubts and stuff but do it in a funny way. it will non bother him as much.

A lack of trust.
You've got to trust him if you want it to work.
But ask yourself, is it really worth it?
