There is nothing you can do, but be yourself....he is with you for a reason and if he has good friends they will see the same thing in you that he does.

Why do you think he is "out of your league"? Does he have a better education? Come from a rich family? Has an outgoing personality? Is great looking? Being insecure and clinging will lose him very quickly anyway. Just go and be yourself. Be nice but not overly nervous chatty and your desire to be accepted by his friends will be obvious. Then the next time you are with them as a group, it will be easy because you have just been yourself. Be careful not to embarass him in front of his friends because he will HAVE to break up with you to save face with the friends. Keep the conversation fun but no mention of anything personal between both of you. If his friends don't accept you, he is very shallow and you can do better.

You just have to be friendly and fun and be yourself. If you think you are not good enough for him and lack confidence, that will show a million miles away and they'll think it too. Obviously he likes you because he's with you. If he lets his friends make his decisions for him, then you don't want him anyway. Just relax and have fun.

Best thing you can do tonight is....Just forget about the boyfriend and concentrate on his best friend, just be nice as you can to him, he will become your mouth piece for you, he will tell everyone else how nice you are.

Be yourself. No reason to be nervous. If he likes you it's not important what they think or say about you.

Just be yourself, if he really likes you now I don't think his friends opinions will make a difference. (But chances are they'll like you anyway)
