Once in a while my mare's urine will be thicker and darker in color, but usually after we've been competing hard or working hard. It might just be that she is a little dehydrated, horses can sometimes do that in winter as they aren't sweating as much. Horses usually drink only when they feel thirsty, so some horses will dehydrate in the winter/less exercise months. But horses' urine does tend to seem a lot thicker and darker than what we're used to. I'm sure she's fine, but if you're worried consult with your vet.
How old is your mare? Why do you want to breed her? Is she a papered horse with proven bloodlines? Has she herself earned anything to prove herself? Just curious... I like to see people breeding horses to make a better offspring than both parents were.
Best of luck with your mare! I hope I helped in some way!

Call a large animal vet and ask them. You will get the best answer that way, not just guesses.

Please learn far more about equine reproduction before you get into something as involved as breeding your horse. It is nothing to play at.
