That's a better question than perhaps you realize, because it turns out that some office copiers and presumably all-in-one machines as well have small hard drives on them, and that these can be compromised by someone who wants to see copies of stuff previously copied. The Wall Street Journal had an article on this, I think.
Even without the hard drive, part of the problem with removing data is to try to find out if it's being stored in the printer, in which case you can always unplug the machine for a few seconds, or in the sending computer, in which case you have to deal with that.

As a general rule they only have RAM, which is totally erased after a job has been transferred to the print processor. Some printers do have a history of print jobs, but nothing about details, just names of documents and the computer they were printed from. I hope this helps.

configure your printer settings and try to delete from there. as a last resort for this case uninstall the whole thing printer driver and reset your printer and re-install again lik a brand new one.
