Your poor dancing soul is limited by the talent and training of your body. Dance as a talent is purely physical- it's the ability to move parts of the body independent of others...also called articulation. It also involves good muscle memory and musicality-the ability to distinguish beats and sounds in music, rhythm is also important. I think when we are all souls with no bodies, you'll be as wonderful a dancer as anyone. Until then, just keep practicing.
