Sounds like ringworm to me. If it doesn't itch, it's most likely not a bug bite. Did you maybe brush up against something unusual? Or, and this may sound silly, maybe you pressed that spot against something. Like if you had it laying against something for a while, you're likely to get that objects impressed on your skin in red for a short time.

if you still have the big red spot it might be best to consult your doctor.spots like that can be anything or something and nothing best to be safe and ask professional advice.
