Some doctors are saying that Red Wine is good for your heart when others say that Red Wine is considered like any other alchool and it is bad for your health. What do you think is more scientific and which has been proven right?

The key is moderation. The grapes used for wines (especially red wines) have antioxidants (comes from the skin of the grapes, as well as from the seeds) and other similar health benefits. Having a glass every day or every other day is healthy. It helps clean your arteries, among other things. Even two glasses a day or every other day probably wouldn't hurt, but you want to be careful here, because this could more easily lead to abuse. And it's not too good to have wine (or any other alcohol) after excercising. It's best to wait a day or so until your body has had time to recover, as alcohol will slow your body's recovery process. The consensus seems to be that 1 to 1 1/2 glasses of red wine a day can be beneficial - any more and it's harmful.

Ask anyone over 100. Red wine is good for you in moderation. 1 Glass a day.

It has been proven that red wine, if you drink in moderation is just like any other wine.

Wine is bad for your health no matter what kind, stick to the healthy stuff, such as Juice or Milk.

Both red and white wines are good for you. You use different wines depends on the meat you are having.

I reckon overdoing any alcohol is bad for you, It's supposed to be rich in antioxidants, but high in carcinogenic (which I think are supposed to be cancer causing) but isn't everything now days, People drink far too much, I'd be more concerned about liver disease and the weight you gain from it and drink driving, that kills thousands of people each day. Not to mention domestic violence. Everything in moderation, and your ok. (not drugs of course)

red wine has anti oxidants..and can be beneficial to the body ..they say a glass a day is okay ..and it is supposed to keep cancer at bay..

per a cardiologist that I know--a glass with your evening meal is good for your heart and your blood (circulation)--drinking in excess is what causes problems!

any wine is bad, pure and simple. dude, grape juice is healthy for your heart too!
