i've herd alot of friends that say that if you keep it tied over the night it will grow fast.. also my mom think so.. is it true?

I tie my hair at night because the friction of rubbing your hair against pillowcases and sheets can cause your hair to break off or can cause split ends. I don't think it's growing any faster, I think it's just not being damaged as much. Oh, silk or satin pillowcases can help if you don't want to tie your hair up.

No, it's not true. Keeping the hair tied up all night only increases hair breakage. A heathy diet, plenty of water, & a good brushing often will keep the hair & scalp healthy.

I know that your hair will grow faster if you keep it trimmed about every 6 to 8 weeks. When I tie my hair up at night it limits the amount of split ends I get!It is good to wrap your hair up especially before going to bed.

wow. i never really thought about it. i always tied my hair over night and my friends always say that my hiar grows really fast, and i didnt know why. so for your answer maybe it does

I don't know about that - but I've tried "FastGrow" shampoo and I think it works (a couple of my friends agree"). I've seen it at Glamour Secrets and Trade Secrets.
