im very guilty of it, i start out to ask a rational question, then it kinda turns into a biased question with only one right answer and alot of hate replies. this is the same with all questions, either they lean to belief or disbelief, getting here heres from people who agree and burn in he** or youre an idiots from people who disagree. its rather humourous to watch, if it didnt happen on the streets and in front of abortion clinics every day. why do we react like this to this issue? is it because of the disbelievers seeing the harm the church has done in the past countered by end of day teachings, speaking to a time when people speak out..... is it just a really bad mix of boredom and passion?

same as the liberal vs consertive arguments. There are solid lines of belief which illicit emotional responses. I'm guilty as well. It bothers me that a cult can have so much influence over people. We could be such a happy race if it were not for religion, the root of all evil.

Your doing it again, in your own question. What is this:

"is it because of the disbelievers seeing the harm the church has done in the past countered by end of day teachings, speaking to a time when people speak out..."

Nothing but an insult.

Imagine someone tells you the earth is flat. You would probably politely explain, "No, the earth is round"

They tell you you're wrong. They have a map, and the map shows a flat earth!

You explain, "You don't know where this map came from, who made it, and we know its incorrect. The earth is round."

They tell you the map is accurate. It must be! There's USA, there's Europe...see? It's real. The earth is flat!

You offer pictures of the earth, you take them on a plane and show them the earth's curve, you explain geological facts to them.

They counter that the photos are fake, the curve is an illusion, and completely ignore any geological facts.

After awhile, politeness and patience runs out and you scream, "LISTEN, YOU DENSE IGNORANT UNEDUCATION TWIT! THE EARTH IS ROUND!!!"

This is the point many people are at. They have abandon politeness and are now venting frustration.

People get angry when discussing religion because there is no absolute proof either way. So when they start to get frustrated or are unable to answer a question, instead of just saying I don't know that, but I believe what I believe, they attack the person who is making them feel insecure in their beliefs.

Your problem can be answered with a single word---then some explanation, because I enjoy writing.

The word: Infallible

To keep a religion and its words or interpretation "infallible" religionists must go to outlandish lengths. It's rather like a natural phenomenon that Outlandish Lengths will bring sparks and sometimes flames.

Putting it in another more common way many in religions believe "You must be wrong and admit it, for me to be absolutely sure I am right and if you don't I'm going to get mad at you for being stubborn because my religion is infallible."

Those who lean unto there own understanding of scripture are leading others astray and blinded by their "pride!" But this has to occur for the Kingdom of God is coming to this earth and establish His way as the only way.

Pride is man's downfall. The End of the circle of man's self rule will be the beginning of Christ's Kingdom but that "pride" must be broken first!

Being different and the views of the individual that hold their point of view to be sound.

Being different causes conflict. Simple as that.

Because you are dealing with a vast diversity of opinions, and some people think their opinions are facts.

I think for a lot of people their religon defines who they are. So, when it comes to that subject, they can get very emotional and say things they shouldn't say.
