The question is extremely convoluted, and yet it generated some excellent answers..I would agree with a little bit of most answers...and as soon as I go off line I'm going to take a good look in the mirror to see if I fall into one of the various "colors"described...

They get along to a point. In Mexico, from what I have observed, Mexicans who are light-skinned and even dark skinned mestizos feel they are superior to indigenous. They even have made the term "indios" into an insult. This is something that I find pathetic and hypocritical...since mestizos are also derived from the same people, at least partially. White Europeans most likely dont have much contact (in modern times) with US Native Americans. But I would bet that now there is not the same racism or superiority complex as in the past. Americans have learned to love our fellow Native citizens...I hope this helps!

Mexicans and Indigenous Mexicans are one and the same people. They are definitely related and often visit family in both countries. I have family in Ireland and feel just as much an Irish citizen as I do American. Europeans who are not narrow minded get along with everyone here...we don't go around seeing differences...we visit, share and enjoy friendships and form synergies.

I wan to respond to the comment user Tom has posted above:

The land bridge theory is just that, A THEORY. There is actually more evidence to disprove the theory than there is to prove it. The evidence this user is citing is extremely controversial. The website he provides is also very controversial. For more information please read "Red Earth White Lies".

For your question actually there is a lot of discrimination and oppression that occurs towards Native people on both sides of the border. Individually these groups may get along (on a person to person basis) but institutionally they do not (on a government to person/group basis).

We seem to only here about bad stuff on the news etc. i think during our everyday lives most of our 'meetings' with others are friendly. Every kid who is born is happy, that is our core 'being', all the bad stuff is external, none of us is evil (ok, im talking about billions of people here so some many show signs of evil).

As with anything else in life, sometimes they do & at other times they don't. What difference does it make? There will never be a time on Earth that all people get along. Just do your part to spread cheer and hope.

I like the Natives I've met, generally, the ones I've gotten to know. I have family who are part native. (I'm what you would call a white European, though I consider myself, and them, Americans.)

Why are you trying to create divisions?
