I'd say you might be able to get away with maybe 5 pounds. If there extra hungry you might want to get alittle more. Good luck and have fun.

I'd go with at least 6 lbs. If you get 4 servings from one pound then that would give you 24 servings which would allow for a few to have seconds or some to overfill their sandwich. Also increase the poundage if there are a lot of guys. My husband can definitely eat 2 and he's just a normal-sized guy.

I would count 1/4 pound per child or regular appetite and 1/2 pound for those who are extra hungry/tend to go for second helpings. And then 1/2 a pound more just to be safe.

At least 4.5 lbs that will give you 18 1/4 lb servings. Of course 30 - 50 percent of those 18 will have seconds. So add at least 1.5 lbs more.

1/4 pound (4 oz) per person, so you will need 4 oz x 18 = 72 oz :-: 16 oz/# = 4 1/2 pounds. That's ONE sandwich per person. Have a great time!

you did not state whether this for children or adults.so id say if for adults 18- 20 lbs.and for children only12 lbs. im sure your serving other things with it so if you have left overs it can be frozen.also you could split the cooked beef into three equal parts and add the sauce as you need it.then if you have left over cooked burger it can be frozen in smaller amounts for other recipes. good luck ><>

I think you could get by with 4 lbs if you are adding other ingrediants and serving only 1 sandwich per person.
