Not all Mexicans want to come here. Citizens of the United States really need to realize that their country is not as great as they may think. The United States has more violence than most countries put together. It has a crazy system of rewarding lazy retarded people with welfare and not giving a **** about their hardworking people, citizens or non-citizens. The United States has the world's largest gang problem, and even though the majority of the gang members are Mexicans, it is the Mexicans who were born in the United States who do most of the trouble.

Also, the Mexican government has been under white control ever since the Europeans invaded America. Spaniards have been passing down power and opressing the real Mexicans for nearly about 500 years. So, Mexicans have been living with white people even in their own country.

And like some people said already, Unites States isn't just filled with white people. If you live in an area that is only one culture, then you're not really living in the United States. That's what this country is about, diversity.

We have White people in Mexico, that doesn't belong just to your country. They don't want to live with White people, they have a necessity to live here for a better life and earning. If the Mexican government created enough jobs I bet you that no one would come to your country. You should ask yourself the same question. They come here for U.S. dollars. I've a friend who is American and lives in Mexico (she's a teacher). She said that most children only go to school through 7th grade. Quite a few quit after that to help their family make what small amount of money they can there.

The reason Mexicans come here to the U.S. is because it's difficult to make a good living in Mexico. Not to mention the fact that stuff is expensive over there. A lollypop will cost 5 pecos, which is about 50 cents over here.

Usually the husband, brother, or male of the family will go out in search of work. They come here, make money, and send it back to their family.

She said most can barely afford food to feed their family. Most wash their clothes the old way, in a cement basin. My friends in the Yucatán by the way, which is far different than being in Mexico City. Her next door neighbor's children had never had a Christmas present, probably never a Birthday present either. The little boy's backpack had been sewn up so much there wasn't much more it could be sewn. They have no lockers there in the schools, no holders in the desks, so books are carried to each class in a backpack. Needless to say that wears out the backpacks quickly.

It's basic survival is what it really boils down to. You go where the best work is.

Where are these white people? I live in the U.S. and I have only lived in Mexican neighborhoods, also, isn't this the land of immigrants? I don't think all people in the United States are white.
You should ask Mexicans instead of other people, shouldn't you? And well I'm Mexican so I'll answer it. I'm VERY proud of being Mexican and VERY proud of my Mexican people, and NOT EVERY Mexican wants to come live here so stop generalizing. Mexicans aren't the only people coming in the United States. Again, with the generalizing. The reason why many want to live here (if you do mean the U.S.) is because of the opportunities given here, it has nothing to do with what people live here, don't get too conceided.

To Loretta- The land WAS stolen, and no, we're not here to take over, why are many Americans so paranoid? I would be just fine if the textbooks in the U.S. taught how they 'won' that land. We came to work, get that straight. And to Christina---how would that even fit with Mexicans? Mexicans are Mestizos which means we are mixed, complexions of Mexicans vary greater than on anybody else. Alex B if they have six kids and live in a cardboard house whose fault is that ?As far as I can see the illegal aliens never have to accept any responsibility for their actions.If a family has no money or no food why would they think bringing in more kids into the world will make the situation better?
