Diatomaceous Earth, get food grade not pool grade. It works and is proven to be 100% safe!

PROTECTING ANIMALS
Diatomaceous Earth kills cockroaches, ants, earwigs, silverfish, beetles, slugs, and other crawling insects. It is a mechanical insect killer that is not toxic or poisonous. Insects cannot become immune to its action. Insects come in contact or ingest this powder and die within 48 hours. It's non-toxic to pets and children. Diatomaceous Earth will not hurt earthworms or beneficial soil microorganisms. It is one of the few pesticides in the world classified as non-toxic. It can be used as a dust against fleas, lice and other external pests on pigs, dogs, cats and chickens. Use full strength as a talcum powder to rub into dog and cat coats and in dusting boxes for chickens. University of California researcher I.B. Tarshis reported great success using sorptive dusts to control fleas on cats and several breeds of dogs. He used a small bulbous duster or his hands to apply 1 oz of dust on cats and small dogs and 2 oz on larger dogs. After treating the pet, apply Diatomaceous Earth to areas where the pet sleeps or roams. Thoroughly powder all sides of the pet’s bedding, including boxes or baskets where the pet sleeps.

Diatomaceous Earth is also used as an animal wormer by adding it to feed. The action is strictly mechanical. The sorbtive dust pierces the protective outer structure of the parasite. They dry out and pass harmlessly through the digestive system.

I find the stuff that goes between the sholder blades work good, however my mom never believed in anything like that, her pets were her babies. Her dog lived to be 16 years old and never had any problems with flease. She gave her dog a garlic pill (liguid capsel) a day and it kept the fleas off him. Good Luck

to function directly to what "unique" stated, even inspite of the indisputable fact that they are distinctive species, in specific situations cat fleas gets on canines, and canines fleas gets on cats. There are even rabbit fleas which exist, yet whilst my bunny had fleas, they weren't rabbit fleas in any respect, they have been cat fleas! Sounds puzzling, would not it?

Fleas are a major pest. There are various species of fleas - cat fleas, dog fleas, rat fleas and rabbit fleas.
You can get rid of them by the safest and cheapest methods like boric acid.

I don't know of any natural alternatives, but I use Frontline Plus, and you only need to not touch the treated area for a little while, and it works great and it waterproof. It will also kill larvae and adult fleas!

flee's can be pesky and until you rid yourself of them entirely they will keep coming back. basically flee's hate soap and water. they also make a flee trap that is nothing more than a light bulb with sticky paper under it. make sure when you bath your dog to do the rear end first and then the ears then the rest of the body. as flees will try to crawl into the holes to hide form soap and water. i totally believe in frontline. as it prevents ticks to which carry lime disiese. which can kill your children. you will have to weight things out for yourself but that is my imput.

Give the dog a bath with Dawn (blue) dishwashing liquid, it kills fleas on contact. Be sure to rinse him good, if not it can dry his/her skin. Dawn kills fleas on contact. (P.S.) it also works well with fire ant mounds.
