I have a 1 years old B&G and was just wondering at what age do they usually begin to talk.

They can begin to talk at any time. Just because they have the ability, does not mean that they will.

Good luck

Here is a site about large birds, they don't have anything about talking, but you may find some of the articles interesting.

Fifteen months is about the age that they will most likely start. He might be trying out new sounds about now. It is just like children learning. Most of his first words will be gibberish. On the other hand, some never talk. Talk to your bird all the time and you will give him his best chance at learning.

The different personalities and learning ways affect how they learn to talk. There is no exact time that a bird will start talking.
