In America, we are over DOUBLE the population growth that was expected. Watch the shocking video. How can America survive if our infrastructure has to handle double and triple and quadruple the population it as expected to handle?

In 1948 my dad immigrated from Europe. He said he learned english by sitting in a classroom of 50 other kids, all from different countries and were shown pictures of things and had to repeat the words over and over and over until it sunk in. CAT, DOG, MOUSE, BIRD, etc.- Today, we cater to immigrants and even offer homework assignments in their own language. Ridiculous.

I was in a car accident 3 years ago in L.A. My wife immigrated here LEGALLY from Europe (at a cost of thousands of dollars) 2 weeks before the accident. We were rear-ended by an illegal lawn maintenance guy in a suburban truck, towing a trailer! We had a double impact collision. He hit us, then pushed us into the car in front of us. He fled the scene.... In the emergency room (for neck injuries) of a very good hospital, we waited 8 hours and watched several people without insurance get taken in immediately. I have PPP health plan too. We even saw one guy with a cut finger drop several $100 bills down & was taken in!

I worry about the Americans who live in the border states. What happens when they have a medical emergency and all of the resources are taken? If you are a chronically ill person you might need to think twice about where you live. Also, you are paying higher medical costs because there is a greater number of non-payers. WE have laws to avoid this type of problem but the Bush administration will not enforce them. It looks like we will be annexing Mexico in the near future. My Mom immigrated here legally and naturalized. If she had to obey the laws then it is good enough for anybody who wants to come here. The republicans have to get it out of their heads that immigrants are a cheap source of labor. Their costs to our country in resources human and natural does not break even in the economy. I don't care where they are from, they need to apply first and be invited legally.

And to think that's about legal immigration.....the illegal numbers aren't even in the mix.

I know where I live.....the congestion is unreal. 15 schools in just my district are being built this year. We are having flooding problems because there just isn't enough ground left for the water to soak in to because of all the building. It's like a concrete jungle. Our well water and most of the water in the area is unfit to drink. There's a full time water restriction. And they are building more......When I lived in Florida I saw what it was like when we had to evacuate. If for any reason they wanted to do that here......we'd never get out. Typical rush hour is a total gridlock. It's insane to take an hour and 45 minutes to go 7 miles. I can't even imagine what it would be like in a panic. There isn't a down time here. No slow day at the grocery store where you're not being mowed over and we have a grocery store atleast every 2 miles in all directions. They're all busy. You might as well forget going to Wally World after the weekend and before Wednesday because the shelves are bare. I'm not used to seeing that. I mean I went for shampoo a while back and there wasn't 1 bottle of any brand. I thought they might be doing re-sets or something and asked a sales clerk.....no.....they were all bought. They were waiting on a shipment. Ya...there's dozens of other places to shop but it was still a shock. I know I went to a store yesterday and they had a swirl rye on sale. They were out like they usually are on alot of sale items. But I asked anyway. They only put out a certain amount each day of the sale items. I wonder if they'll end up having to do something like that with all things in the future? The demands there.....the supply is not.

I know it sounds trite to think about stuff like that when so many have far less.....but we're moving towards the low end.....not ahead. I'm not up to clubbing people for a loaf of bread.

I was listening to the radio and they were talking about Africa and how the earth there has nothing in it for plants to grow. We're building over alot of farm land to house people........how long will it take before the farms that are left aren't going to be able to grow things? It makes me mad when people see open spaces and think there's room for tons more.......they aren't thinking of the rest of the picture. The wealthy have bought their acres and acres of land.....it's gonna be the rest of us on top of each other. He didn't mention the increase of diseases and close quarters with too many people. Just today I heard we have our first case of small pox in decades. A baby. The dad was in the middle east and brought it back or something. They aren't worried......guess it's harder to spread. But look at all the diseases people are bringing in now. Now we find they have done transplants and blood transfusions with organs and blood infected with that chagus worm or whatever it is. So many of these diseases aren't responding to medications we have.

I'm not too keen on the idea of having my grandchild be the next poster kid for unicef or something......while Bush is saying "ya all come in" on our already depleated dime.
