From a church viewpoint its a big no no...but know that god made sex to be a good thing - the best way you can show love for another person - of the opposite sex bear in mind. As long as it was done out of love and not lust and you have intentions of being with this person for ever I think your okay - but then again I'm not god either. The bible says that the 2 will become one flesh. But if you screwed up like I have a couple times. - ask christ to forgive you from your heart and you will be. Don't feel bad but repent and accept forgiveness. Christ didn't go through all that suffering to not to forgive you.

It is said to not engage in relations until marriage. There is a good reason for that, but most don't want to hear it. If you are a christian, you should repent of it and not do it again. If you do decide to keep on doing it, you will not be close to God because there is sin between you and Him. Also, you are responsible for your actions and have to live with the consequences, not blame God. The penalty for sin is 'death' unless you are saved and repent.

The price to be paid for any and all sin is death. It doesn't matter what sin it was, anyone who has ever sinned even once is guilty (sometimes even thinking about it is enough to be considered guilty in God's court, Jesus said) and cannot stand as righteous before a holy God at Judgment Day. Because God is Holy, He cannot tolerate any sin in His Presence. The only way to be completely righteous is to have your sins completely forgiven. This is done by faith and trust in Jesus' atoning work on the cross. You need to accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior, confess your sin and repent of it (turn completely away from it) and follow Him.

You can't just make a wave at it, though, saying it's ok to sin because He'll forgive me anyway. You need to forsake that sin, no matter how much you like it, and truly repent in your heart. God cannot be mocked or fooled. That's part of being omniscient. He sees your heart and hears every thought you've ever had. Trying to hide sin -- or anything else, for that matter -- from Him is like a 2-year-old "hiding" behind a slatted rocking chair telling his mom that she can't see him because he's hiding. You're not going to get something for nothing. You have to really consider whether doing what God has called a sin in this world is worth the eternal consequences God has clearly told us it will earn for each and every one of us.

In the Catholic Church all pre-marital sex is considered a mortal sin and if the person dies without confessing this matter to a priest in the sacrament of Reconciliation he or she runs the strong possiblity of going to hell for all eternity. However, since no one really knows the disposition of one's heart at the moment of death, it is possible for the person to throw themselves on the mercy of Almightly God and ask forgiveness of this sin as well as all other sins of their past life and God will judge accordingly. No one can really say that a person is going to hell or that they are in hell--only God really knows that.

However, the Catholic Church views sex as a wonderful life giving gift from God to married people. The Church would prefer that both man and woman practice self-control before marrage and learn all about the person they are going to marry outside of having sex in order that on the wedding night they can truly participate in the "gift" that God has given them to enhance all the other attributes they may have.

I wish I could remember the verse in the bible that talks about premartial sex. However, I know for a fact that premartial sex is a sin. Thus the wages of sin is death (hell). However, we can bypass hell by being sincerely sorry, asking God for forgiveness and of course salvation through Jesus. It is by Jesus' death we are healed. So once you ask for forgiveness you should avoid that sin (whatever it may be) and try to lead the best life as possible. Always asking for forgiveness when we mess up and starting again to lead a righteous life.

In the OT, the penalty was death. In the NT, Christ paid the death penalty for those who acknowledge and embrace His sacrifice. They will be forgiven their sin, but they are then expected to abstain from that sin. God will forgive as many times as that person asks forgiveness, but if a person knowingly abuses God's mercy by constantly continuing to sin, God will know that this person isn't serious about being a Christian.
If a person willingly continues in the sin of premarital sex, God will allow the natural consequences to befall them - unwed pregnancy, poverty, abortion, venereal disease, uterine and breast cancer, prostitution, abuse, etc.

God does not say that you will be specifically punished by so and so happening to you, but look at the entire world. There is venereal diseases, aids, unwanted pregnancies, teen pregnancies, fatherless children, single parents, orphans, prostitution, adulterous affairs, broken families, promiscuity, fewer marriages, etc.

So much of the world is suffering physically, financially and psychologically because of immoral sex. So much pain and a decrease in love.

There are no penalties, like you won't get 40 lashes for haveing sex out of wedlock. It is considered a mortal sin, and you cannot recive the sacraments with a mortal sin on your soul, so you have to go to confession. Now of course that is if it is consentual, if you were raped or sexually assaulted, there is no penalty for YOU, just the sexual assailant, or rapist.

Wow those are some rude answers , there arent penalties , God says not to in the bible , says that sex is something thats supposed to be saved for marriage . If you do it purposelly knowing its wrong then you will go to hell , but if you do it and know you did wrong and asked forgiveness then you'll still go to heaven , hope i helped :)
