Stool softener, and a strong laxative. If that doesn't work, consider an enema.

Bummer!
I'm thinking that you don't know how to relax. Maybe too much on your mind.
For starters do not force yourself to have a bowel movement (BM) that will cause hemorrhoids..
The function of the colon is too remove excess water in your stools. If there is not enough water...stools will become very dry and will not come out easily.
Try drinking lots of Dr. Pepper each day...at least 3 cans a day. When things get back to normal...just drink any kind of liquid....but no alcohol!
When you sit on the pot...enjoy and don't rush.
Get in the habit of having a BM at or near the same time each day.
Hope that helps!

You can find an over-the-counter stool softener at your local pharmacy (the pharmacist will show you where they are). Since you have hemmorhoids this is probably the best option. You may want to consider adding more fiber to your diet to increase the bulk of your stools and facilitate passage. In addition one of the best things you can do is drink more water and start getting some exercise. If this lasts much longer (say 3-4 days) you need to see your doctor.

Dude, I have to take lots of opiates so I know what your going through. The best thing I've found is sold at the pharmacy. Its called magnesium citrate and comes in 20 oz bottles. It's carbonated and tastes like bad cherry soda, but it works. Drink the whole bottle and be near a toilet in about 4 hours, cause everything will come out. Good Luck

Its all in your diet. Here it is:
1. Drink tons of water , no soda or softdrinks because they dehydrate your body and can cause constapation.
2. Get tons of fiber from oatmeal, whole wheat breads, they have fiber vitamins, Fiber One is a great source of fiber
3. Don't eat foods that cause constipation - cheese, fatty foods like pizza, etc.
- If you do the above for just a couple days then everything should start flowing normally again.

You can start taking stool softeners available at your pharmacy. Drink lots of fluids. Call your doctor, he'll probably need to see you. Constipation can be very serious and they do treat it in the ER. Hope that you're better soon.

In the laxative area of the store, there is a small soda looking bottle of liquid, costs about $2. Go home and drink the whole bottle, and drink a glass of water. This is a total guarantee to work. Best of luck to you!!

Try Colace (not the pericolace, this is the one with the laxative in it) to try and soften the stool and then pls get to your dr to see about getting to a gastroenterologist possibly to have the hemorrhoid dealt with.
I am currently dealing with a hemorrhoid myself so I can empathize and will be working to get it taken care of.

Buy a bottle of magnesium sulfate (about a dollar) and drink it all. For your hemmorhoids, apply some cortisone cream several times a day.

Prune juice or apple juice softens it up and walking a good mile will help things move too.
