How do you tell if a guy is still interested?He gave me his number and we have been texting and calling each other(he always text first).I then got a text from him yesterday saying that he is still interested and if i`m not then just tell him.I told him to text after he finished work and he did and then sent another text asking if he could call me,but i didn`t get this text till much later on as my battery ran out.He didn`t try and phone anyway.
I explained what happened this afternoon in a text and he didn`t reply,so has he suddenly lost interest or what?
My mum is in his work just now and he`s usually really chatty and friendly towards her but she called and said that he didn`t really speak to her much.This is how i know him.through his work.We`re both quite shy and i don`t want him to think i`m desperate by texting him again as he hasn`t replied.
So what do you think,has he lost interest over night?i`m feeling rather confused about it all,please help?

i did text and ask him what he was doing tonight after work,that was last night after my phone was working again and of course he hasn`t replied.

you can only push a guy so far or the other gender I should say. How much can a person try? He hasn't lost interest yet, he is just backing out because he thinks you are playing games. Just talk to him and tell him you want to take things further...simple. If he says no, then he has lost interest.

he may jus be a bit lost with it all especially the time delay between texts and may have the wrong impression or he may just be havin a bad day, wait until tomorrow and see what happens, if it is the same try talkin to him to see what he says but i dont think he has lost interest just maybe mis understood the situation

From a 47 year old experienced woman - just call him and have done with it. There are plenty of others and it sounds like he likes you anyway, so what have you got to lose other then a smidgen of pride? Get on with it and then move on to the next one if he's not available!

stop texting and call him!!!....man...these kids nowadays...in my days we had the balls to walk up to each other or at least talk on the phone...but...my age bias aside....u should call him...since he obviously was gonna try to get in touch with you....and from what u described...he prolly thinks you arent very interested in him...which if you were...u wouldnt be asking this question and woulda called him....

Maybe he thinks that your not interested. Just text him, saying 'Hi, what are you up to?"

ring him to see whats happening and tell him over the phone that you are interested and if he not interested anymore then its his loss but i cant see him losing interest over night.
