I know that this is a commonly asked question. If you can just tell me how you knew you had found the one I would appreciate it. I would especially like to hear from the ladies.

That's a good answer but I'm not a young girl, I'm 25.

If you're a young girl, there will be many loves before "the one" comes along. I'm not saying that the love a young girl feels is not real... it most certainly is! It's all part of the learning process. But it takes maturity for the REAL thing to develop. Many moms always say "you'll just KNOW". I've found that to be hard to understand, but very true!

It will be a feeling very different from ANY you've ever had! Not just in the romantic/lustful sense, but BOTH parties will KNOW ... when you share common interests, values, morals, dreams & similar backgrounds. When you both really "hear" how the other feels about things, and think of the other before themself, & RESPECT each other's individuality. TRUST & the ability to COMMUNICATE ANYTHING are essential!!

Also, EVERYONE experiences some kind of changes at different stages of their lives that are a normal part of maturity and aging. No one ever stays the same! If it's real love, you will be able to ACCEPT these changes & still love that person.

Alot of these traits that you see in others will sometimes be mistaken for "love". The "real thing" takes TIME to develop, so give yourself the time to know if it's real.

Real love is not quick. And is NEVER one-sided! Fear or pity or self-centeredness are NEVER a part of real love!

Hope this helps. Good luck.
