Yes it works, yes people win and yes they move (with their spouse and minor children) and work here.

It is just that many more apply than are chosen each year. Some who get in do it their first year, some later years. However, if you go through the government site (the State Department) I don't think there is a fee until you are selected.

PS, there ARE a lot of scams on this, so use the government web site (they end in .gov, so you know.) I think it is closed for the year and you'd need to apply in October, though.

Yes it works and it's fair process on top of that. Because the US green card lottery includes people from other countries also wanting to move to the US, live and work here.

I don't know who you've been listening to , but I've never heard of this lottery. I would be suspicious of it , especially if it costs money. Check with U.S. Immigration before some con artist rips you off! Good luck!

Ya it does work, my luc cousin got pulled up twice and won twice so i think the second time they withdrawled it since he already one once before.
