have had it around 3 days but seems to be getting worse, head aches, pain in cheeks, sore jaw and face feels swollen, i am pregnant so can only take paracetamol which is not doing much i understand the doctors are very reluctant to prescribe medication but i cannot stand it anymore, if it still bad tomorrow should i go and see about it or am i wasting my time?
(this and morning sickness is a nightmare)

If you feel the sinusitis is getting worse then it may be time to use antibiotics. Its obviously not healthy for your baby for you to be unwell. Its a balance of risk against benefit with when to use antibiotics.
Normally if the infection is severe enough your doctor will prescribe you a course of antibiotics.

When I get problems with my sinuses from the sinusitis or sinus colds I will sometimes get very painful headaches and the only way to get rid of them for me is to sleep them off.
With your situation because of being pregnant I would let your OB/GYN know what is going on next week to see what they suggest for medicines if you need it.
