Actually, yes it is good for them. Cats have a tendency to eat grass and flowers all of the time. Green plants to cats are like vegitables are to humans. You can buy both wet and dry cat food that has natural plants added to it. It helps in their urinary track. In dogs, green plants help to ease an upset stomach.

Cats like grass alot, but make sure to check for chemicals in the grass, as it is really poisonous. But, if it is ok to eat, don't get it too dependant on it though, as it will start eating that instead of real food.

I suggest you buy special a "cat grass" kit that they sell in pet stores everywhere. Who knows what is on the lawn grass. They are able to digest the "cat grass", but regular lawn grass would make them vomit. Cats and dogs eat grass to make themselves vomit...usually they eat it when they have an upset stomach.

grow goose grass ina pot on the windowledge also known as kitty grass much safer than grass from the garden. grass can make them sick but they use it to get rid of hairballs and gastric upsets. so in a way that is good for them if it is grown specially for them

Actually, when cats and dogs have upset stomachs or are feeling nauseated they will eat grass to make themselves vomit. It is a natural vomit inducer for them but it NOT toxic... so unless you want cat vomit everywhere i suggest you don't give it to them again silly! =)
