How has the cross been portrayed in art through the ceturies? and Wat are some devotion to the cross and the different types of cross?Can someone help please????

I love how a symbol of death is reinterpreted as a symbol of God...religion is great with the interpreting of "metaphors."

I was recently told the "four corners of the earth" was a metaphor for a sphere.
