If someone believes it is his/her own business they shouldn't ctiticise the ones that don't believe (and this would prove wisdom also), and the atheists also shouldn't mind and criticise the ones that believe. Of course we should share our points of view but in a civilised and detached manner

becasue everyone is afraid to love one another and ignore the idea of being equal instead we love the drama we love the hate so we continue to question our close ones and delivery negative vibes against something they dont believe.

Most fights have an aggressor and a defender. Religion seems to be the aggressor as they try to force their beliefs on others. Any time an aggressor pushes the other side, they should expect to get pushed back. It basically comes down to a lack of respect for the other side.

The other problem is that you are dealing with opinions, not facts. When many people have a diversity of opinions and facts are scarce, there is bound to be a collision of wills.

I debate the topic because each day, more and more people are killed in the name of religion. To believe that someone with so much power needs us minuscule beings to pray to him is ludicrous!

Even Thomas Jefferson told his nephew to debate the subject:

“Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve the homage of reason than that of blindfolded fear”

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - people belittle the beliefs of others when they are insecure about their own. I try and bring a bit of peace to the table. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

What you say is very true, in theory, however, in practice, one often sees a question as an attack.

You can't expect people who have complete opposite opinions to get along with each other.......humans just can't be that mature.
