My cousin is like my best friend and he lives in...basically a frat house. There are a total of 5 guys that live there and I party there all the time. I found myself to be really attracted to one of his roomates and just last night we both confessed that we like eachother. He's a very sweet guy, but if i were to date him and it didn't work out... i might have to stop hanging out with my cousin to avoid "the ex". What would you do?

The only thing you can do now is ~try him out~
If he isn't working for you, you have to tell him before he finds out when it is too late! See how he is and if he just wasn't mde for you tell him that, but say that you just want to be good friends-so that you can still go over to your cousin's house to party!!! :) lol.
Try him out!

I think nothing is wrong with it if you are mature enough to handle the situation should it not work out. Talking about your concerns and hearing his point of view wouldn't be such a bad idea. Agreeing to keep the hostility and anger on a minimum should things not work out may be a good idea, so to avoid any tension after all is said and done.

I would do it.. so what if you see him again?!! it doesn't matter you guys can end and still be friends. But if you end up hating each other then that might be an issue. If that's ever the case then just avoid him when partying.

I've found--and confirmed with many friends and family members--that while we may regret some things we've done, the things we're most sorry for are those we didn't do.

Don't be so negative. What if it DOES workout? You may be passing on the love of your life.

In a situation like this you just have to trust your self and go. If you think that your relationship with this guy will really work then go for it but if you think it will be rocky and unsure then just be "friends with benifits." Also he is a collage boy...he is not going to want to settle down...keep that in mind

If you really like the guy then why not give him a chance. If it doesn't work out then I'm sure you can be civil. Just don't rush anything.

If it didn't work out, why would you have to avoid him?! You could just become friends....ever think of that?

You could always take a chance. Who knows, you might regret not taking a chance if you really like him.

You just have to decide if you want to party or love.
