It Depends On How Damaged Your Hair Is And How "Straight" You Want Your Hair To Be. Perm Sloutions Can Be Used For "Relaxing Curl" But, Their Effectiveness Is Limited, If You Think She Knows What She's Doing, Go-For-It! But, Since You Are Here Asking Strangers For Advice. I Would Guess You Don't Trust Her Judgement. Go To Some One You Trust. Or Get A Relaxer Kit From the Local Drugstore And Ask Her If She Will Help You Apply It. I've Said This Before But, There Is A Safe Relaxer Available Called EASY STRAIGHT® At Most Drugstores. Good-Luck!

I think its probably better for ur hair then using a hair straighter cause a hair straighter uses heat witch can damage ur hair so can a hair dryer set on high . but with that perm formula it doesn't use heat and other hair products such as moose , conditioner, and things for making ur hair more manageable are safe for ur hair so i reallyy think that perm formula is safe for ur hair and will not damage it. To know for sure u could ask the person who put the stuff in ur hair but if shes not a reall hair dresser then she just might have an opinion instead of actual knowing.

perms are pretty damaging if not done properly. as for straightening it with the perm formula. I've heard of that but my hair straightens easy enough with my professional salon flat iron so I never tried it.

Perming is less harmful than home bleaching if that matters.

Straightening everyday only harms your hair if you don't use the proper temperature for your hair type.

the person above me...if you get a perm you have to wash your hair almost every week...what? I hope you mean everyday...because almost every week that's just gross!

The perm would be better for your hair. The heat from a straightener kills the hair folicals daily. The pern you only need about every month and a half.

What I do because of the fact I even have wavy hair to is I take a tub at 6:00 on a daily basis blow dry my hair , and once you're blow drying it brush it on the comparable time,do no longer project if this is wavy nonetheless because of the fact in the morning in case you have lengthy hair awaken at 6:00 A.M so which you have time to straightened and in case you have short hair like me merely awaken at 6:30 make advantageous that when you employ the straightener you bypass slowly works for me so wish it works for you.

a perm is actually better because the heat from the straightner could actually damage you hair. But if you do get a perm, you have to wash your hair almost every week, and get touchups almost every 1 to 2 months.

im on the convservative side, but i don't think that u should lpermanently straighten your hair. besides, all the hassel, it would not let u curl your hair naturally if you ever wanted to. i've been straigthening my hair for the past 2 years and now i let it go wavy sometimes because it's a change. you don't always want to look the same do you?

I did see on Oprah show, that if you perm your hair or use other harsh chemicals, there is a chance that your hair will fall out.
