you should take a look at the schools in your area. Call and ask for information (pose as a prospective student), and see if you can get prices over the phone. Then you can decide on what to charge to not only have a stable income, but also to remain competitive.

We charge 50-70 a month depending on your contract. For 2 students in a family it's 80-100 a month. We have three classes a week, and three different lengthed contracts (3 months, 6 months, and a year--we also have a 1 month contract for which we charge $90 to deter people from choosing it)

Depends on your location. I mean here in Richmond, VA local dojus run between $55 a month for 2 classes a week in a specific martial art up to $110 a month unlimited classes in everything they teach. Some places have a one time registration fee but it includes a uniform, gloves, so on and so on, others don't but you have to buy all that stuff yourself which the school conveniently sells at a marked up price. Go to www.fightresource.com and look for local schools in your area, check out their website if they have one, and do some homework before making any comitments. Also you should have to sign a 1 year contract to join or be charged a fee for belt testing.

Depends upon several factors:
1) what art/style is being taught
2) how many arts/styles are taught there
3) how experienced the teacher/staff is
4) how many classes per week are offered & how long are they
5) where the dojo is located geographically

Basically, if it is the only dojo in that area offering instruction in that particular art/style, expect the fees to be higher (law of supply & demand). If several arts/styles are taught, expect higher fees. If the teacher/staff are highly experienced and have the awards and/or credentials to back it up, expect to pay higher fees. If they offer instruction several times a week, expect higher fees. Starting to see a pattern here? However, one of the biggest factors in setting fees is where the dojo is located geographically. If it's in a big city, fees will be high because of rent & utilities.

To help you out, I live & train in St. Louis, which is a large mid-Western city. I pay $60/month in fees, which is about average here, regardless of style. I've seen places as low as $50/month and I've seen them as high as $100/month.

Depend. It can be any where from 25 a month to 300 a month.

I've train at gym where many pro fighters train at and it was a very well respected gym. It cost about 140 for Muay Thai class. For more than one class (MMA) it would have been around 200.

Now I pay only 150 a month for three different gyms and have four different coaches.

Fair rates can range from 35$ a month to 75$ a month. Depends on their facility and experience. I teach in a place that my rent is very low so I charge 35$ a month to 45$ a month.

Depends on the facilities and the amount of training and who is training. I would say if it is really good around 70-80$. Something that seems fair and wouldn't scare anyone away, but that you still make prophet. Try and give them like one free class to get them excited, then Hook them on your Service.

A fair price for what they have to offer. The amount of time the student is in class, the amount of actual instruction time. Actual techniques offered, equipment for use, services available, and the facilities offered. There are many variables. You must also see what competitors are charging in the area.

well the place i go now is $100 for thai boxing alone and you can go to an unlimited amount per month. and for everything (bjj, vale tudo, takedown, and thai boxing) it is $150 its practically open from 11am-9pm mon-sat

my old gym was $80 for thai boxing classes(but they didnt offer as many classes) and $100 for everything(bjj thai boxing wrestling/takedown/san soo)but the place wasnt open as long

long story short i would say it would range from $70-$180 depending on what they offer, how much training you can do there, their quality of training, etc...
