Ok I lived in Maywood right just next door... I used to commute all the way to Tustin till I quit my Job could't handle the commute especially when it rains (the horror) it would take me about anywhere from 50 mins to 1hr 10 mins but on the way home at 4:30pm it would take me 1hr 30 mins to 1hr 40 mins... So good luck (I feel for you).

You are basically going the opposite direction of most of the morning "rush" traffic. It's about 35 miles so just to be on the safe side I'll say one hour or slightly less. You may hit a little traffic around the "Orange Crush" (the 5, 22, & 55 interchange).

DO NOT follow the driving directions on Mapquest. Their little jog from the east 105 to north 605 will put you on the morning 605 parking lot. My reccommendation would be to use surface streets to get on the I-5 south and take that into Orange County then across the 22 east to Tustin.

I was born in HP and now live near Tustin

Thats a bit of a drive during rush hour- Hour and a half I would say-You may want to print off a map "with-out highways" for alternatives.

Anyone of those freeway to out here can get jammed and bumper to bumper

Good Luck!
