When I take a picture with my Sony, the pictures come out with white lines (horizontal) across the picture/screen. When I go into "view pictures" on the camera, it puts yet another layer of white (this time not lines, just white) across the screen.

I've had it take a few really good pictures in the correct lighting, but it has never done this before... no matter what the lighting conditions were.

Could you post some pictures and the link to show the issue? It may help to get a better answer... EDIT: Thanks for the posts... Those images look similar to ones that my card was producing. I have a Sony Cybershot, and I was using a 4 MB card, I am not sure why but the images were becoming corrupt like this, but only in certain computers. I ended up replacing that card and have had no issues since. Again, with my card it was only on my laptop that I was seeing the issues (my desktop and all other computers in my house viewed the images perfectly). The cheapest easiest way is to check with a couple of cards, otherwise call Canon or take it back to the store.
