It really depends on the overall theme of the dinner. If it's a picnic or outdoor dining, I would probably make potato salad. (There are several great recipes). A salad of mixed greens and fresh garden vegetables rounds out the feast.

For a more "formal" setting, A potato, baked and stuffed with fresh broccoli makes a nice side. (Plus you save room on the place setting for that nice slab of ribs).

As a suggestion for desert, strawberry shortcake is an excellent way to complete the meal. Fresh strawberries with homemade biscuits (The side of the Bisquick box has an outstanding recipe) and a generous blob of whipped cream is just the thing.

The focus should--and likely WILL--be on the ribs, themselves. However, rounding out the meal with complimentary sides will make the meal very memorable for your guests or family.

If you don't like these suggestions, try the link. I get the majority of my meal-planning ideas from the Food Network. Enjoy!

We usually have them with oven-baked fries or rice and veggies with dip.
My husband is the one who cooks ribs in our house, and he always forgets about the vegetables, which is why we always end up eating them raw with this meal!
