Refer to attached world clock. Alice Springs is the same time as Darwin.

Currently Alice Springs is 9.5 hours ahead of the UK. When the UK gets daylight saving, the time difference will be 8.5 hours.

Look at the time it is right now.
Subtract 2.5 hrs.
That is the time in Alice.
Remember if its daylight here,
its night time there.
So 10pm GMT = 07.30am in Alice.
