It's not "wrong".. I don't worship them, but I highly respect them and their wisdom. I am a "Tree-HUGGER" for sure ;)

I don't know about worshipping, but I definitely appreciate and respect the tree. I do not like to see a tree cut down especially an old one.

Well if you are talking Christianity, it is wrong in as much as as you'd be breaking the commandments by worshiping a false idol. Outside religion, say legally, it's not wrong to worship a tree if you feel so inclined.

It's not wrong to worship a tree. This is America and you're free to believe any damn fool thing you please. Pantheism makes much more sense than worshiping the imaginary deity of the Abrahamic faiths. At least a tree is real!

When you read a book and find it great, you praise the book but the credits go to the author. Next time you want to read a book of this intellect, the first name which will appear, will be that author.
Do praise the creations of God, but worship the one who create them, just like you were created. Worshipping another creation of God, sounds odd.
The tree will die sooner or later. Trees are not eternal. I can cut down the tree you worship. While God is eternal.

Worshipping a tree is as sensical as worshipping anything...the chances of a tree answering your prayers are about equal to that of a god answering them.
And remember, Trees help those who help themselves!

It isn't wrong. In fact, it might be safer than worshipping the Biblical god. I never heard of a tree "smiting" anyone, or allowing people to burn in a lake of fire.

Becuase a tree, like you, is nothing more than a collection of atoms systematically interacting.
