Hi - I am thinking of going to one of these islands for a long weekend getaway ( 3 or 4 days) with a couple of friends from work. I know these are great "romantic" islands for couples to visit, but how is the single/tourist scene? What is the nightlife like and which island would you recommend for a few single girls in our twenties looking to have a bit of safe, clean fun?

just remember Bremuda is almost 1000 miles north of Barbados and Aruba.......it's off the coast of South Carolina, actually.....so it may not be as warm as you think.......in fact, its not tropical at all...

You won't be disappointed in either destination. They all are beautiful, and expensive, Bermuda is nice if you don't like all inclusive, Aruba and Barbados are both romantic. In Barbados I would recommend "The House", about 20 minutes from Bridgetown, you get Champagne Breakfast which is really romantic and the it's smaller more luxury then your All inclusive, in Aruba I stayed at Bucuti Beach Resort, we had the Tara Beach Suite, we loved it ...very romantic.

Happy planning

All three islands are nice to visit. 3/4 days is cutting it kind of short. Two days will be taken for traveling. You don't say where you will be flying from.

I would choice Aruba or Barbados for nightlife fun.
go to these sites.

i'd ought to assert St. Lucia (as i replaced into married there earlier in 1994). Barbados is mind-blowing also with a lot more beneficial activities than St. Lucia. in case you want a rather non violent vacation or a hectic one, maximum islands cater for all tastes. Have a superb time which ever island you pick because the human beings are so pleasant everywhere in the caribbean (have not been to Jamaica so i will not contact upon there).
