I was talking on the phone with my best friend, who happens to be a guy. We got to talking about math class and he said, "Ain't it funny how every girl in our math class has someone that has a crush on them? I mean, Reshawn has a crush on Amber and Calvin has a crush on you and Kayla." I said, "I know Calvin likes me. He asked me out last year and I said no." (BTW we only have 3 girls and 20 guys in our math class.) Then he said, "I bet if I asked you out you'd say yes." (Since he knows I like him." "Shut up," I said. THEN he said, "Now I have a serious question...would you?" "Yeah," I said. AND THEN HE SAID, "Yeah...and don't hold your breath..." and I didn't hear what he said afterward. Did he ask me out or was he just playing a joke on me.
BTW: If he was just playing a joke on me, don't tell me to stop being friends with him and don't say he was being a jerk. I AM THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN CALL HIM A JERK! Lol! Did he really ask me out or was he just playing around?

You don't understand! We always play jokes and stuff on each other, and yes somtimes we are both dumb enough to fall for it. He was seriously looking for an answer, but I don't know if he actually means if we are going out or he was just asking what I would say.

I think he was feeling you out to see what you would say if he were to ask you out. I think you might want to gently imply on occasion that you wouldnt mind going out on a date with him. make it an out of the blue comment. see what he says in a week or so. then youll know if it were a joke or if he is just too shy toown up to liking you

i don't know. i'm sorry. because it really depends on his personality. if he is the person that jokes around or not. and i'd say just stay friends with him because if you break up with him, and you still want to be friends with him, then it would be akward :) i'm sorry and i know it would hurt to turn him down. but thats just what i'd do. hopefully i answered your question. Well since you didnt know what he mummbled afterward.... i cant say. But he wouldnt have asked if he just wanteed to know the answer. He would've asked would you say yes if i asked you. He wouldnt say Now seriously i have a question....or whatever.....

i think he's a lil bit embarrassed to ask you out, and from my professional experience i can tell that he have a crush on you but he's afraid, there's something he's holding, maybe the way you treat him, this is all i can tell, hope this helps you..

i think he may of been serious,its happened to me something like that ,im now going out with him and yesterday was our 3 months anaversary:) and i love him loads!so i think you should ask him what he said ,btw do you like him?cuz if you do try it out xxx
