Having lost dozens of friends & associates at Ground Zero, I'd rather not see any Muslims write anything they think I need to know. I would rather see them write things the fundamentalist wacko Muslims need to know so that the fundamentalist wacko Muslims stop blowing things up.

If moderate Muslims want to be treated equally, then they need to stand up and speak out - and they can begin by speaking out and getting their wacko brethren in line.

I'm not Muslim but I'm pretty sure the reason Islam is not portrayed much (or in an accurate light) on this site is because there just isn't a large enough percentage of them here...
Like ~50% of R&S is Christian while ~40% is nonreligious. The other ~10% is Islamic, Jewish, Pagan, etc...

Although, if you ask me, about 75% or R&S is also ignorant out of their minds, or trolls, or both. This is coming from all groups, not just those not my own.

Salaam...

It has been my experience that MOST questions on this board regarding Islam and Muslims are literally "rhetorical", in that they are used to espouse, albeit indirectly, the questioners' anti-Islamic rhetoric.

But I must be honest and say I have seen the same from some Muslims, Atheists, et al.

It just confirms for me the notion that ignorance, and the arrogance that it breeds, is not exclusive to any one religion, or race, or gender.

Islam is not a new religion, but the same truth that God revealed through all His prophets to every people. For a fifth of the world's population, Islam is both a religion and a complete way of life. Muslims follow a religion of peace, mercy, and forgiveness, and the majority have nothing to do with the extremely grave events which have come to be associated with their faith.

Muslims believe in One, Unique, Incomparable God; in the Angels created by Him; in the prophets through whom His revelations were brought to mankind; in the Day of Judgement and individual accountability for actions; in God's complete authority over human destiny and in life after death. Muslims believe in a chain of prophets starting with Adam and including Noah, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Job, Moses, Aaron, David, Solomon, Elias, Jonah, John the Baptist, and Jesus, peace be upon them. But God's final message to man, a reconfirmation of the eternal message and a summing-up of all that has gone before was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad through Gabriel.

you are making a serious mistake dear friends ,,, there is a huge difference between Islam and Moslems ,,,, if we are judging Islam through what moslems are doing this will be a disaster ,,, as we cant blame Christianity because any christian do a mistake here or there
if you want to talk about moslems i know that there are so liberal in the world and also there are neutral or indifference
but when we talk about Islam it is another issue ,, it is a religion makes you doing good things and not doing bad things as Christianity in parallel

Muslims are not in good strength here ,most of them have left out of disappointment they get here9i know few )....things are changed alot now thats i m happy about...but with that we have lost many good muslims from here and now we are left with very small strength .yes ther are still some negative factors left which are trying to bring bad name to this religion by following some wrong sites but our good non-muslim fellows also stand against that and that has made a great difference....and for that i would like to thank those good fellows !
just want to share these verses !!

Say, 'The truth is from your Lord': Let him who will believe, and let him who will, reject (it):......(The Noble Quran,

18:29)"Say : O ye that reject Faith! I worship not that which ye worship, Nor will ye worship that which I worship. And I will not worship that which ye have been wont to worship, Nor will ye worship that which I worship. To you be your Way, and to me mine. (The Noble Quran, 109:1-6)"

So please !! islam believes in freedom of choice, there is no such thing as 'killing infidels', there is no compulsion in islam and even those terrorists are not our representatives as there is no place for killing innocents in our religion !

Noble Verse 5:32 "...if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people..."

Peace Be With All Of You !
