ladies, that's rude. how are you so sure anyway?

i've read other columns where a female says they're treated wrong and a lot of other females will tell her to slap the guy. whaaat? first off, how are so sure she even can? i'll bet most can't. i'd bet no woman could do that to me. that's bad advice.

Slapping is a terrible approach. They should punch him in the shoulder. Chances are it'll hurt less than the slap.

Of course, then you get into the whole "why can't i hit you if you can hit me" argument. The best advice is for both of you to control yourselves, not each other.

If it's the case of the being treated wrongly, e.g., abuse, well, you're right. They probably can't. Abusers will control your mind to where you can't think straight, like these columnists. Help comes through understanding. How can you pick yourself up by your bootstraps if you don't have any boots?

Personally, I have never given advice like that because it is just bad advice. Boys aren't supposed to hit girls and it is the same the other way around. Slapping the guy doesn't solve anything. Girls who give advice like that shouldn't be doing so. I don't know what they're thinking...that's just wrong.

good advice you've given there, but what you've got to bear in mind is that most men HIT women that's why some women think it would alright to do it back
