I agree with fish. I would strongly advise NOT having hand cream on your hands while you are handling food. I know a lot of people can't stand having dry skin, but not only is it potentially nasty, it's also unsanitary. You should not have anything on your hands while you're handling food. That is the ENTIRE reason for washing your hands in the first place.

Most definatley not.
And too those who say "under gloves" picture this-
You wash your hands, dry your hands apply hand cream, then pull out a glove, used your left hand (with cream) to put a glove onto your right hand - The right hand is contaminated.
No hand cream should be used by food handlers on duty at any time

You shouldn't because some of the cream could get on the food and make it taste funny. The best thing to do when you get ready to make food is to wash your hands with some fragrance-free soap and rinse and dry them really well. After you get done you can wash your hands again and put on some more cream.

If you need to wear hand cream or have any skin conditions on your hands you should wear ultra thin surgical type gloves so that you can feel what you're doing without contaminating the food in any way and protecting your hands at the same time.

NO,you wash your hands before,during and after..Plus dry them on a CLEAN towel or kitchen roll...
