(His words, in mine, not exactly quoted)

Be calm My child...for you have no worries. I walk with you daily and know all you know, but I know more, for this is why I walk with you.

Have no worries, for I have control of all you see. Be at peace and just love your brother (fellow man).

(just me)

From all my studies no where does it state 2012 is a dooms day.....in 20 different languages, races and continents, it only says " a great change will happen " . In no way does that spell "dooms day".

For all we know on that date the earth will be aligned with the center of the universe and this act will cause vast underground caverns to open up draining parts of the ocean. Revealing ancient cities, great temples and more answers for man.

Cause if you think basic human rational way......Mayan make a calendar, to tell the story of the future, then stop on a date and say a great change. Well they pretty much just vanished away. How do we know that the water wasn't lower, and great cities are a few miles out, and when they lined up with this time in the past, maybe the water came up then.

Just an outside the box thinking theory.....just trying to show you....don't worry about all those that scream....DOOM, END DAYS....for those are just ones filled with fear....and fear comes from the lack of information and knowledge.

If it was an important date, as in destruction, I am sure G_D would clearly put it in the bible for us as he has put everything else. Since that date is not in the book, but has been calculated by man, many men, then I must assume its a simple things of change that happens to man, a change that has happened before. And since that is logic and we are still here as man, that means we will still be here afterwards as man.

Cause the Bible is clear.....NO man, not EVEN my Son shall know the time nor hour that I shall return...for that is for G_D only.

Like sheep in a field during a lightning storm....man runs around in fear of nothing.

Well, apparently something major is supposed to happen with the gravitational pull of all 9 planets (Pluto is still a planet, never mind that though) when they align. People took the Mayan Calendar too seriously and now people think every planet is going to march straight into the sun. Other people think it will be the Apocalypse (which is a good band name basis... Apocalyptica) and the end of evil will come around.

All I know is that whatever happens, no one will be prepared for it.

What people don't know is what they are afraid of. The obscurity of the future is mighty. No one can tell what will happen.

That's one of the ones where worrying won't help, so don't bother. If it's really the end of the (human) world... Meteor strike, mega volcano, well that's it. The beetles and bacteria take over.
(They've hardly noticed the humans are here, anyway).

On the other hand from about your age to about 24, it's quite clear what is most likely to end your personal world. And that is worth giving a little thought to. What's the big threat to your life, statistically?
Cars, automobiles... traffic. Being in or around motor vehicles.
If you can face that, then all other risks ARE SMALLER.

Oh, sh*t yeah I also think about it a lot!
I don't really want the world to end in my lifetime. I don't want to be here when it happens.
Seems I'm not the only one cursed with a mind that ponders and worries about stuff like the end of the world... :)

I think I remember reading a site that said it's not gonna happen on that date, but who knows??
I don't know how the Mayans can look thousands of years into the future and see the apocalypse of the earth is going to happen.

It's true that the end of the world is coming, but no one knows what day it will come, so please don't believe in everything you hear. Many scientists and researchers think that they could predict this, but God will come in his own time. Just continue to keep your faith in God. While he continues not come until he's ready, just spend your time getting ready for when he comes and you will have a home in his kingdom when he comes. Peace be with you.
