I cant think of anything that is "avoo", nor can I find anything in any of my food books. The only thing I can think of is you misheard "EVOO", which is extra virgin olive oil. I believe the name EVOO was originally started, if not it became popular with Rachel Ray who uses the phrase on her TV shows and other appearances.

It's evoo..Extra Virgin Olive Oil .Rachele Ray from the food network taught me that.:)

They are right unless you are referring to avocado.
